William Harris III started dancing at the age of 14, training at the Nashville School of the Arts. After graduating from NSA, he moved to Los Angeles in 2007. William was offered a full scholarship to the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, training in various styles. He was later asked to be Artist-In-Residence, learning hands on with Ms. Allen assisting her for productions, concerts, and auditions around the country. At DADA, William met Tessandra Chavez Director of UNITY Dance Ensemble. He was asked to be apart of her company, and has danced there for 4 years. He has worked with her on projects for SYTYCD, studio choreography, and teaching throughout the country. His training has led him to work with artists such as Chaka Khan, Queen Latifah, Taye Diggs, Idina Menzel, and Wayne Brady. William danced alongside Neil Patrick Harris in the 80th Academy Awards and has also worked with the cast of GLEE on their GLEE Live Tour in 2010 as a Vocal Adrenaline dancer. He traveled to Manila, Philippines last year as one of the twelve L.A. dancers, to dance in the BENCH Fashion Show. William was Assistant Choreographer for the San Diego Reparatory Theatre’s presentation of Storyville, working with Broadway legends Ken Page and Hector Mercado. He also, assisted famed dancer/choreographer Eddie Garcia for an upcoming television show "Soul of American Music".
