Julie McDonald, co-owner of McDonald Selznick Associates, pioneered the "dance agency" business by becoming the first talent agent to exclusively represent dancers and choreographers. Collectively MSA's clients have worked with many of the music industry's most influential recording artists including Madonna, Usher, Missy Elliott and Shakira. MSA clients’ choreography graces numerous Las Vegas productions including Cirque du Soleil’s KA and Zumanity, Celine Dion’s A New Day, and The Fountains at The Bellagio. On Broadway their work can be seen in Hairspray and The Color Purple and in numerous feature films including the upcoming Julie Taymor directed musical “Across the Universe.” Their choreography has also been featured in countless television programs, including this years Academy Awards and memorable ad campaigns for such brands as iPod, Coke, and The Gap. MSA's clients have been nominated for and have won numerous Emmy and American Choreography Awards. Julie is a founding producer of the American Choreography Awards and serves on the Board of Directors of the Academy of Dance on Film.
